Glashaus | Garage

The stylish Glashaus Cafe and Bar is located in Spittal an der Drau, Austria.

The Glashaus bar and cafe is also home to a club -- the Garage. Udo Mortiz selected Rane's programmable multiprocessors and accessories to process audio throughout the 8 zones located in the facility.

"For the dance floor, we have programmed 3 RPM 44 Programmable Multiprocessor presets that are recalled using the MRS 4 Level Recall Switch. One preset is for the DJ setup, where we use only the delay, level and limiter. The other 2 presets are for the live stage, where we use feedback, delay, parametric EQ, level and limiting, for 2 diferent areas within the club."

A single zone is used for the club's main sound system, supporting live music, DJs, theater performances, and stand up comedy. A RPM 44 Programmable Multiprocessor is configured in stereo, with 2 analog inputs. One input is used for a DJ mixer, and the other for the stage mixer. Feedback suppression, delays, parametric EQ, level and limiting are all performed by the RPM 44.

System presets for the RPM 44 Programmable Multiprocessor are selected using a MRS 4 Level Recall Switch. In addition, the DJ controls the overall system volume using a VR 2 Volume Remote.

A single RPM 88 Programmable Multiprocessor is used in mono mode, for matrix mixing between zones. It is also connected to the RPM 44 via its AES input. Processing is configured for delay and equalization, with level and limiting configured the same for all zones.

A Rane SR 4 Smart Remote is used to recall RPM 88 presets and volume in the main zone, and 7 VR 2 Volume Remotes control volume in the other zones.
