St. Paul's Cathedral

St. Paul's Lutheran Cathedral in St. Paul, Minnesota, recently received a new sound system designed and installed by Audio Video Electronics (AVE).

The system is comprised of an RPM 88 Programmable Multiprocessor and a traditional mixing board. Four "automatic" microphone inputs are allocated for use when a sound engineer is unavailable. The system can be easily switched to manual control at the soundboard.

"Thanks to the RPM 88, what used to fill 10 rackspaces now takes only two, with less installation time, lower cost, and more control," says AVE's Stefan Svärd.

AVE also installed an SR 3 Smart Remote in the pulpit for those mornings when nobody is at the soundboard. With the SR 3, parishoners have a multifunction remote control in one knob.
