Senior Software Engineer

Minimum Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software development
  • 8+ years of experience developing data-centric applications using C# or C++
  • 8+ years of experience with SQL and developing applications utilizing relational databases
  • Strong grasp of object-oriented design principles and patterns
  • Proven track record of developing high performance time critical applications
  • Strong familiarity of Microsoft’s .NET Framework
  • Outstanding communication skills (oral, written and presentation) and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as a productive member of a development team
  • High energy level, strong team player and good work ethic.
  • Ability to prioritize workload
  • Ability to listen and understand complex issues
  • Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex software interactions
  • A desire to learn new technologies
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Reports to Director of R&D Engineering

Nice to Have

  • Experience with audio a definite asset
  • Linux proficiency
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Ruby, Perl or Python

Manufacturing Generalist

A Manufacturing Generalist is utilized in all areas of electronic equipment production with the exception of skill level-specific positions such as Test and Machine Operation. This person possesses a wide variety of electronics manufacturing skills and can move from job to job in production at a moment’s notice. This person is flexible and able to perform multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Good English verbal/comprehension skills required. Tasks performed may be from basic to complex electronic manufacturing operations. Duties performed may be under immediate or limited supervision in any work center as assigned.

Job Description

  • Sits at a workbench for prolonged periods of time

  • Prepares paperwork for part and assembly requisitioning or moving
  • Performs tasks as directed by supervisor or works from schedule

  • Performs the essential functions of a given task while meeting the expectations of the company

  • Maintains a clean work environment
  • Handles fiberglass circuit boards
  • Frequent to continual use of manual/air/electronic screwdrivers/rivet gun/other tools

  • Extracts/inserts components in double-sided circuit boards by hand or using tools
  • Performs manual and automated soldering and de-soldering processes
  • Fabricates subassemblies used in final product
  • Operates computer keyboard

  • Frequent to continual use of pneumatic drivers
  • Packages final products for shipping
  • Uses tape gun
  • May perform dielectric strength testing
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

  • Knowledge and experience using hand tools
  • Experience with soldering and de-soldering
  • Ability to sit at a workbench or stand for long periods of time
  • Proven flexibility to multi-task and move from job to job at a moment’s notice
  • Manual dexterity to grip small components and perform fine finger manipulation
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately on a day to day basis requiring manual dexterity and precise hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
