- Order: 00907 Pot only for earliest mixers. This part must be soldered in place,* even if you have a plug-in assembly.
- Order: 08951 Active Crossfader for X-series mixers. Metal plate has Active Crossfader printed on it. 08951 - no longer available. Use F45 or F60 with FX Crossfader Adapter part 16832.
- Order: 16251 Active Crossfader F60 for Z-series mixers. Metal plate has F60 printed on it. Fits Z-series mixers and X-series mixers with FX Crossfader Adapter 16832.
- Order: 11646 60 millimeter Crossfader Assembly for MP 2, MP 4 /S and MP 44. No metal plate; just a pot on a circuit board.
- Order: 16254 Active Crossfader FT 45 for TTM 52/i and TTM 54/i mixers. Does not have metal plate, just a pot on a circuit board.
- Order: 13188 Carrier Assembly Spare. Brown colored plastic unit, with spring and magnet installed. Fits No Contact Magnetic Fader only.
Optional Z-Series faders
- Order: 10230 Active Crossfader F 45 for Z-series mixers. Metal plate has F 45 printed on it. Fits Z-series mixers and X-series mixers with FX Crossfader Adapter 16832.

What Crossfader Do I Need? (assemblies & pots only)
Any "x" series mixer (MM 8x, MP 22x, MP 24x) used plug-in assembly 08951. Pot only is part number 03505 - no longer available. Use F45 or F60 with FX Crossfader Adapter part 16832.
Any "z" series mixer (MM 8z, MP 22z, MP 24z) and XP 2016/a uses plug-in assembly 16251. Pot only is part number 08755.
Any TTM 52/i or TTM 54/i versions used plug-in assembly 16254. Pot only is 09524.
MP 44 uses plug-in assembly 11646. Pot only is 08755.
Empath uses plug-in assembly 13265.
TTM 56 and TTM 57SL do not have a replaceable fader assembly. The spare user replaceable carrier is 13188.
MP 44 uses plug-in assembly 11646. Pot only is 08755.
Notes about crossfaders:
- Crossfader types do not interchange (i.e. you can't put a "z" type in an "x" version mixer).
- All three faders in a TTM 52 and TTM 54 are the same, so any fader can replace any other. This applies to the "i" versions too.
- If you buy a pot only intending to solder it in yourself, it comes as is.
- An authorized service center must solder the pot in place for warranty to apply.
- All "x" version mixers (MM 8x, MP 22x or MP 24x) Must use F45 or F60 as replacement. This requires FX Crossfader Adapter part 16832.
*Original MP 22 and MP 24 Crossfaders
The original MP 22 and second generation MP 24 mixers use a plug-in crossfader (it just has CROSSFADE on the metal plate) which Rane no longer carries. We do have the pot available, but you must solder it in place and reuse the plug-in hardware. If you've lost the crossfader assembly for an MP 22 or MP 24 you're out of luck. We no longer have any crossfader assembly parts for these decade-old units. This pot also fits the original MP 24 which has a power switch on the front panel, and does not use a plug-in crossfader. Any mixer before the "x" version (MP 22 or MP 24) no longer has a plug-in assembly available. For the MP 22 and MP 24 order a replacement pot like this:
This is part number 00907. Do
not discard the plug-in assembly from an MP 22 or MP 24 as we no longer
have any spares available. In other words, if you've lost or tossed the
assembly you're out of luck. The mixer will "work" without a crossfader,
but it's just not the same.
When ordering a crossfader assembly, you must provide the mixer's serial number. No serial number means no return if it doesn't fit!
