Version Changes
- Auto Mixer/Ducker enhancements:
- New Threshold with Last-On keeps the microphone which last detected audio 'on', until another becomes active.
- New, lower Threshold detection minimum (-70 dBFS) detects gnat wing sounds near the mic (assuming proper gain structure and mic placement are used).
- New adjustable Gate Depth per input lets you define how far off, 'off ' is.
- Ability to bypass the Look-Ahead Delay.
- Saved Drag Net configuration files are now merged into one file (not three). No more arriving at the job site only to find that you didn't copy all three Drag Net files to your laptop -- they're all in a single file now!
- "Available PEQ" is now easier. While EQing with the parametric block, it's now very easy to find the next available unused filter with the new PEQ coloring scheme. We've also tripled the number of available BW (Q) values.
- NTSC and PAL frame displays added to the Delay block.
- RPM 2m firmware updated for compatibility. No other units affected.
- RPM 88 firmware updated for compatibility. No other units affected.

- Automatic Update Device Firmware
- Update firmware with a single click
- Remote Reboot Device
- SR 4 was being set to selections above 8 when it was mapped to presets (or other group levels) above 8, because of inverse Selection/GroupLevel table setup failure. Last 8 entries in table were not being ignored. Fixed both in firmware and DragNet Software. Selection/GroupLevel table and max selection were being sent to the RPM but not the last entry in the table, which triggers the RPM to set up the inverse table and send the max selection to the remotes. Fixed in Drag Net by setting all entries when anything is changed from the default.

Fixes in Version 3.0.1:
- Supports RPM 2 Programmable Multiprocessor (2 in, 2 out).
- New Processing Blocks for ALL Drag Net devices:
- The 30-Band Perfect-Q Graphic EQ uses Rane's patent-pending DSP technology to provide accurate response and eliminate the adjacent band interaction inherent in traditional graphic equalizers (this DSP algorithm is identical to Rane's revolutionary DEQ 60 Graphic Equalizer).
- The Ambient Noise Compensator automatically adjusts program level to match changes in background noise.
- The deluxe Side-Chain Compressor (Mono and Stereo) smoothes out variations in program material and includes a soft-knee setting to further tailor dynamic response.
- Remote Map is now editable on a Live device.
- Full support for the SR 2's Level 1 and Level 2 parameters.
- New GUI features and Enhancements
- Multi-select cut/copy/paste and block alignment tools speed up system design and setup.
- Parameter window provides tree structure view of Device Configuration; used to build Presets and Remote Map assignments.
- Revamped Remote Map expands control options.
- Tabular view of all PEQ block settings.
- And, as always--swoopy new look!
- Priority Auto Mixer/Ducker depth now ranges from 0 to -80 dB, plus Mute.
- Priority Auto Mixer/Ducker now allows application of Priority NOM on each output rather than a single global NOM setting.
- Single-click on Palette to place Priority Auto Mixer/Ducker ducker block no longer generates error message.
- Preset block list is now being completely refreshed/cleared when recalling Presets.
- Updated the application installer to exclude duplicate versions of RPM 26z templates (DSP1.r26, DSP2.r26, etc.). If a previous installation of Drag Net installed these files, simply locate and remove them (they are found under the Templates\Rane folder of the installation directory.
- Don't forget to remove the associated .mem files as well!
Fixes in version 2.0.1:
- Full support for RPM 26z.
- New Processing Blocks for ALL Drag Net devices:
- Priority Auto Mixer/Ducker - Provides automatic, priority-based page/music ducking at each crosspoint; or set all inputs to the same priority for automatic mic mixing applications with independent gating and NOM. Independent audio detectors support push-to-talk with contact closure, always on (forced) or independent detector thresholds.
- Automatic Gain Control (AGC) - Solves 'one talker's too loud, the next talker's too soft' problems; and the problem when Led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love is followed by Sade's Smooth Operator. A 'Seek-the-Target' based implementation with adjustable target, threshold, ratio and complete timing control.
- Text Labels - Label Processing Map areas.
- Enhancements to existing Processing blocks:
- Butterworth 6 dB per octave Crossover Filter - You want nice transient response, we've got it.

- Opening a deleted file no longer causes crash.
- Page-to-Preset Map is no longer lost/reset when transferring from Live to Storage.
- Additional [Mem 0] line causes Communication failure for certain configurations, but only after opening in Drag Net before transferring to Live.
- Transfer no longer stops if an error is detected. When an error occurs, Drag Net finishes transferring the current Preset and displays an error. This happens per Preset.
- An Invalid VIP number was making its way into storage files, causing a communication error. A safety check has now been implemented for reading VIP parameters.
Fixes in Version 1.5.3:
- Full support for RPM 88, RPM 44 and RPM 22.
