There are two ways to access an individual preset's Preset dialog box.
note: All blocks and controls are referenced by the Baseline preset. The icon shown above does not appear, however, unless the block or control is referenced by an additional preset—a preset created by a user. Note also that this icon can have one of three appearances.
Provides a central location for:
|Preset Name||A text edit box in which you can type a custom name for the preset—to help you identify the preset when listed with other presets. This name is for internal use only. It is not used as a display name on linked DR devices.|
|Scratch Pad area||Location for enabling/disabling/resetting the preset's Scratch Pad. You can provide end users with control over these settings by linking a remote Toggle control (such as a DR2, DR3, or Logic In port) to the Enable control, and linking a remote Command control (DR2, DR3, or Logic In) to the Reset control. Click the small arrow to view or hide the Scratch Pad settings. See About Presets for more details on using the Scratch Pad.|
|Update All||Click to update all the preset's blocks, controls, and links to their current configuration in the Processing Map.|
|Block/Control area||Displays the blocks and controls included in this preset. Click a block/control name to open its properties dialog box. To update an individual block or control to its current configuration in the Processing Map, click its Update button. To remove a block or control, select it by clicking it anywhere except on its name or its Update button, and then click the red X in the lower right corner.|
|Resize area||The three small dots between the Block/Control area and the Link area allows you to change the relative sizes of the two areas.|
|Link area||Displays the control links included in this preset. Also displays the link's Active status stored in the preset. If you intend for the preset to activate the link, select the Active checkbox. If the preset is to deactivate the link, deselect the Active checkbox. Click the link name to open its properties dialog box. Remove the link from the preset by selecting it (clicking it anywhere except on its name or in the Active checkbox), and then clicking the red X in the lower right corner.|
|Blue area at bottom||Add blocks, controls, and links to the preset by dragging their preset box and dropping it onto this area:|
