The MLM42S can mix four mics or instruments, each with 3-band tone controls. The Effects Return can be a fifth input when using a line-level instrument like a keyboard. The RCA outputs easily connect to a recording device. A small portable rack could contain the wireless receiver or an amplifier.
The MLM42S can double its inputs as your needs grow. Simply connect the Effects Send of the first mixer to the Effects Return of the second mixer, with the ability to daisy-chain more. Set the Effects control on the second mixer to "Wet."
Rane’s patented tone control technology produces steeper slopes than normal, thus allowing boost/cut of high and low frequencies without disturbing the critical midband frequencies. The MLM42S features full-cut Tone Controls, allowing much greater contouring than possible with regular controls.
